Using RSS to Make Money Online

Most of you have seen those little buttons on websites labeled RSS or XML. If you are wondering what they are, RSS means Really Simple Syndication. Really simple because when you subscribe to a site that has this feature, you keep up-to-date with new information without having to check the site every day. This is really good news because you can use it to get newsfeeds from major news networks, news on new movies, even your favorite musician's tour dates or CD releases.

This new twist to the Internet is very valuable to you as a Internet marketer too. Imagine replacing email marketing with RSS marketing. People actually subscribe meaning they want your information updates, similar to opt-in newsletters. With newsletters you have to write them and your site content. With RSS, when you update your content, all subscribers are notified by their newsreaders.

Newsreaders are special software that read RSS feeds. To get started, download a free RSS reader.

If you use a Windows PC, go to http://www.rssreader.com

For Mac users, see http://ranchero.com/netnewswire

Once you are set up, here's all you or your customers have to do...

Right-click (control-click for Mac users) on any RSS button on a site, blog or news source that interests you. Select Copy Shortcut ("Copy Link to Clipboard" for Mac, "Copy Link Location" for Firefox browsers), and paste that URL into your RSS Reader. And that is it, you are subscribed. Once you get started, your favorite parts of the Web come to you. No need to go out and check for updates all the time. If you do not want to download software, subscribe to your favorite feeds through My Yahoo or My MSN.

So how does any of this make you money?

More traffic means more money. By placing RSS on your website or your blog, anyone can subscribe automatically and know when a new product or service is available. This new breed of Internet shopper is not to be ignored. To take advantage of the traffic you have to make your RSS feed available to website visitors and submit your feed information to RSS, blog and XML type directories.

Here's how you get RSS for your site!

Go to http://blogs.law.harvard.edu/tech/rss for the best source of RSS and Blog information. There are several file types for RSS and here you learn which is best and why. The easiest and fastest way to learn more about this technology and see it in use is to go to http://rss.sitesell.com where you find all you need to know about RSS, including solid marketing ideas.

There is no need to become a techie, no need to know all the ins and outs of RSS and XML. There is huge need for you to know enough about this newest technology to use it. Once you do, it comes easy to see how you make money online with RSS. In the same way newsletters and opt-in email are used for successful marketing, RSS is much easier, faster, and a much less intrusive way to communicate with potential or existing clients and customers.

It's very critical to provide exactly what people want to make money online. How can there be a better way to do that than to allow people to subscribe to their wants and wishes? Start using RSS and XML technologies to make money online now before it too becomes the jungle email marketing is. To add fuel to your marketing fire, use optimized content for frequent updates to your blogs and web pages and deliver it with RSS.

Myths and Misconceptions About Starting an Online Business

Are you trying to start an online business? Are you overwhelmed with the many online business programs available or concerned that you'll lose money by investing in them? While many offers sound too good to be true, there are some very good ones available - but how can you be sure? Learning to read 'between the lines' will better prepare you for what's really involved.

Here are some common phrases used to promote online businesses and what they really mean:

#1 - Simple & Easy

Simple and easy depends on who's speaking. A doctor may tell you it's only a 'simple procedure' but that doesn't mean that you should attempt it yourself.

Many online businesses ARE simple to operate. If you understand how it works you will be amazed at the simplicity - but getting to that point will require time and experience. You may just need to try a few to get a 'feel' for the business before deciding which one is easiest for you.

Those who have learned from experience can look back and see how simple it COULD have been if they'd known what to do all along. Finding a trustworthy guide can be a great assistance to your business efforts.

#2 - Anyone Can Do This

Sorry - starting a business of any kind is stressful and requires a learning curve. If you are attempting an online business out of desperation or the belief you will make easy money you will face enormous obstacles. On the other hand, if you are truly seeking a business you can learn, work at and make a living from, you will find something online that fits your needs.

Studies of successful business people concur that those who make it have common qualities of persistence, patience and desire. These qualities are essential when trying to start an online business - do you have them?

#3 - Turnkey

The term 'turnkey' use to mean that a business was set up and ready to go. You will find the term in business classifieds where the new owner can just step in and start running the business. Unfortunately some marketers use the term to suggest a business is fully automated - that there is no work involved.

There is always work involved. If the business really is turnkey than you will begin work right away because it has already been set to go. If you want an automated business you will have to do the work to make it automated. Either way, nobody is going to give you an automated, turnkey business that makes money - they had to do the work, so why would they share it?

#4 - It Won't Cost Anything

You absolutely CAN set up an online business with no money, but be prepared that a combination of no money and lack of experience will stifle your efforts immensely.

Most individuals who start or run a business with no money have learned how to make use of the best free techniques through experience. They have paid their dues by trying businesses that cost money. They have spent time in and around their industry or market and they've been able to see where they can cut costs.

If you are prepared to spend a LOT of time researching before starting your business you may be one of the few who does it right the first time. For most people though, expect to pay something towards your online business education before seeing results - you just can't buy experience.

Online business obviously has its share of work involved, but finding the right one has enormous payoffs many people are willing to sacrifice time and money to achieve. Running your own business is satisfying and can give you more time to do what you really want to do in life.

Creating a successful online business is within the grasp of nearly everyone who is prepared to stick to it. Face the task of starting your business with realistic expectations while continuing to dream big and you may just surprise yourself!

Tips To Start Your eBay Business

I've just been talking to my friend Derek Gehl, the CEO of the
Internet Marketing Center (he's the guy who's been responsible
for bringing in over $40,000,000.00 in online sales).

It seems he recently teamed up with a fellow by the name of
Brandon Dupsky, who is currently making $22,000 a DAY selling
'everyday' stuff on eBay.

Together, they've come up with an easy-to-follow system that
will let anyone copy Brandon's strategies and start making
serious cash on eBay almost immediately!

I'm thinking of partnering with Derek and Brandon - but before I
team up with them, I want to be absolutely SURE their new
eBay system will work for my customers and subscribers.

So if making a LOT of money (at least $100,000+ in your first
year) is something that sounds interesting to you, I'll have
Derek send you a risk-free "review copy" of their system and
you can give it a try!

Hopefully, you'll be up and running and making BIG profits on
eBay in the next month or so, and will let me know...

If not, no big deal... Just send it back and it won't have
cost you anything.

Sound interesting? You can give it a try by going to:

Six Ways to Grow a Subscriber List

I recently lunched with a friend who is preparing to launch his first newsletter campaign. He had some questions about how to build a subscriber base. As we spoke, I realized many of you might have the same questions. In response, some insights on growing a newsletter subscription list.

The first thing I told my friend (and he wasn't thrilled to hear it) was one of the most important lessons in building a subscriber base: Unless you've got a major brand and a big budget to spend on this initiative, you must have patience. In e-newsletter publishing, patience is a virtue few of us nurture. But a good subscriber list doesn't happen overnight. You can build a list quickly, but not a quality one.

Quality Counts -- Big Time

A major part of newsletter planning is having deep working knowledge of your target marketplace before thinking about almost any other strategy element. You have to know whom you want to reach and what their informational needs are. Be prepared to fill those needs.

If you pay attention to who your readers are and plan to attract only those readers who are directly interested your services or products, you can build a publishing strategy that will enable you to:

Profile audience segments efficiently.

Gain valuable marketplace intelligence through data mining.

Follow evolving trends and movements.

Serve the profile characteristics within your planned content categories.

Individualize communications and incentives effectively.

A very important clarification that may come as a shock: You don't want, or need, to add everyone and his brother to your list. In this case, bigger is not better. In fact, you want to weed out individuals who don't meet your own defined stringent criteria for receiving your newsletter.

Getting Stringent

We've discussed this before, so I'm sure you've got your stringent criteria identified by now. Quick review: Start by identifying the key audience segments or people most likely to buy your products or services. For instance, in the HR marketplace, segments might be determined by position (corporate HR, small business management, independent HR trainer, etc.). Your segments might be further defined by categories, such as customer, prospect, influencer, or channel/reseller.

The next step is to develop audience profile fields for each segment. At the outset, perhaps 5 to 10 specific areas of interests, job function, or characteristics that can provide you with insights that will influence strategic marketing decisions down the road. In HR, these might include concentrations such as leadership development, hiring systems, or workforce retention.

Build, Build, Build

Once the above basics are down, you're ready to build (or augment) your reader base. Tips to grow your list:

Create an incentive for members to join. Make the newsletter sign-up box clearly visible on your home page. Don't bury it through a link to another page. Keep it "above the fold."

Create a subscription form on your Web site. Set up strategic alliances with complementary companies to cross-promote each other's mailing lists.

Get current subscribers to refer friends or colleagues. Ask them to forward your newsletter to colleagues with similar interests.

Create a coregistration using a coregistration network or similar complementary publication.

Create a pop-up window with a subscription box. Pop-ups (and pop-unders) do work and will get more people to subscribe. Employ these carefully so you don't annoy site visitors. Boxes should be intelligent enough to pop up once, not every time a user visits the site.

Optimize your newsletters and its key topics with search engines and crawlers so people conducting searches on topics related to your products or services will find your newsletter.

Pay attention to your readers, work hard to continually add to and clean your subscription list, and produce a focused newsletter based on their information interests. Your subscriber list will grow. Good luck, and let me know how you're doing.

Creating Your Own Internet Marketing Product through a Home Based Business

There are thousands of marketing tool kits available online for a whole range of prices, but what if you are not interested in buying someone else’s tool kit and are more interested in creating your own internet marketing product and toolkit to sell. Well, there are plenty of ways to going about doing this.

First, you should have considerable information that you can easily compile into a toolkit or e-book to sell. Whatever information you are including in your marketing product, make sure it is viable and relative information your customers can use and will find practical. Providing this information will carry you a long way when it comes to customer reviews and recommendations of your product. Make sure any information that is not yours is documented properly and that you have permission to use it. When you start compiling the information, make sure it looks professional.

Also, be sure the information is easy to read and understand. Bullet points, lists and step by step guides are very helpful for individuals interested in learning how to market a product. Edit your e-book or toolkit several times as well as have another set of eyes read over it to make sure it is clear, concise, and understandable. The last thing you want is to provide confusing information and receive hundreds of emails that you don’t have time to response to. Do it right the first time and you will receive more customers, positive reviews and constant cash flow.

There are a variety of software programs that can help you compile this information into a professional and easily read e-book or toolkit. Certainly, if you plan on selling and creating your own internet marketing product, you will want to make sure it is professional, organized, detailed and provides real and pertinent information to your customers. Once you have created your own internet marketing product, you will want to have a way to get it out to the public. As a result, you will need a web page or a minipage that is dedicated to selling this product to customers. Generally, you can find a web hosting company that charges a small fee monthly that will register a URL for you and host your page. Also, most have a web page builder program if you are not knowledgeable of building web pages and design. The most important aspects of this web page are reviews of the product and a purchase now button. You will want to make the checkout process as easy as possible because once customers have decided to buy; they want the process to be quick and easy. If not, you will likely lose a customer. Additionally, you will want to have Paypal or another program such as this that accepts a variety of payment options in a wide range of currencies. This will allow you to market and sell your marketing guide to people worldwide.

Get More Website Visitors Without Going Broke

It's about how any business, large or small, should approach
buying traffic to make sure you're building your business
(and not wasting your time or money).

Get More Website Visitors Without Going Broke

© Jim Edwards - All Rights reserved
http://www.thenetreporter.com

In the never-ending quest to make money online, every
website owner wants to get traffic to their website fast.

The main problem they face: finding traffic that converts
into buyers without breaking their bank.

In their haste to get the traffic they need, many website
operators start throwing money at the problem buying ads and
exhaust their advertising budget without any meaningful
profit (unless you count the person they paid for the
advertising).

The following three rules should help any business, big or
small, make money with their online advertising.

** Set An Online Advertising Budget **

Most businesses, especially smaller ones with only a few
people (or even one person), don't operate with an
advertising budget.

The advertising money gets spent when everything else gets
paid, or worse, they spend money on advertising without a
plan so they're basically gambling with their money.

By setting an advertising budget, you can factor it into
your overall business picture and it gives you a yardstick
to measure results.

If you budget $500 a month to advertise and look for ways to
spend that money wisely, then your business will grow more
predictably than if you advertise sporadically and then
wonder why you don't operate with a predictable income
stream.

** Follow The Numbers **

Unlike offline advertising on billboards, magazines or in
direct mail, you can track virtually all aspects of an
online ad, including: how many people saw the ad; how many
people clicked the ad; how many sales and how much revenue
the ad generated.

Since you can track everything, you can test various phases
of the advertising process.

Regardless of whether you operate a real estate agent
website, sell an ebook, or hawk your plumbing services
online, you can and should measure each phase of the
advertising process.

If clicks on your ads fall below expectations, then work on
your ad until it generates a healthy click-through rate
turning viewers into website visitors.

If you don't convert very many of the website visitors you
get into buyers, then your site needs work to do a better
job of selling people.

By following the numbers, you can see where you need to
focus in the online sales process.

The number one rule of online advertising: use a unique
tracking link for each and every one of your ads, preferably
one that tracks not only unique visitors, but also sales.

This might add an extra 5 or 10 minutes of work to placing
each ad, but it will allow you to see which ads make a
profit (so you can run them again) and which ads don't (so
you can change or cancel them).

** Go Beyond Pay-Per-Click **

Google AdWords and Overture, the Web's top pay-per-click
advertising sources, have made people lazy.

Many website owners never go beyond buying advertising from
these two.

However, a whole world of advertising exists
buying ads on websites targeted to specific niche audiences.

online text link and banner advertising.

12 Benefits of Having A Website

Some of the goals that can be achieved by launching a website include the following:

1. Far Cheaper and Much More Flexible Than Print Advertising

The Internet is extremely different from print advertising in that space is cheap, your advertisement is accessible for a longer period of time, the content can be changed without having to ask someone to do it for you (if you use a content management system) and you can potentially reach a wider audience.
This is not to say that you should not use other forms of advertising at all – You can use it to entice people to visit your website and find out about your company and potentially open two-way communication between the potential customer and a sales person.

2. Market Expansion

The Internet has allowed businesses to break through the geographical barriers and become accessible, virtually, from any country in the world by a potential customer that has Internet access.

3. Diversify Revenue Streams

A website is not just a medium for representation of your company, it is a form of media from which everybody can acquire information. You can use this media to sell advertising space to other businesses.
A recent trend has risen where businesses feature their very own directory of complimentary services, where the visitor can search for information on a business that will enhance the use of your service. The business sells complimentary businesses a listing in their directory.
A good example is a catering company featuring a directory with businesses such as event co-ordinators, electronic equipment rental companies, etc.

4. 24 7 365

No more turning customers away when its time to close shop, putting up a note saying “closed for public holiday”, or leaving an irritating message on your answering service specifying your trading hours – tell them to visit your website for information they are looking for.

5. Offer Convenience

It is far more convenient for a person to research a product on the Internet than it is to get in a car, drive somewhere and look for or ask someone for information on a product. Also, a potential customer won’t have to judge a call centre agent to determine whether he/she has their best interests in mind, or just wants to make a sale.
The potential customer can visit your website whenever they like in their own privacy and comfort, without the stresses and distractions that exist in the "real world".
Your website is a self-service medium – for example, instead of having to wait in a long cue to pay your TV Licence, you can now do it electronically through the TV Licence website.

6. Add Value and Satisfaction

By offering convenience, a point of reference and that touch of individualised customer service, you ultimately add value to your offering and your customers experience a higher level of satisfaction.
Your website can add value in other ways too, by featuring tips, advice and general interest content you can "entertain" your customers. This will also help them remember you better.

7. Standardize Sales Performance

By looking at which approached / pitches have worked in the past and those which have not, you can produce the ultimate pitch and use it with your website, so that you use it on every customer. No more training of sales people and waiting for them to get a feel for your line of trade.

8. Improve credibility

A website gives you the opportunity to tell potential customers what you are about and why you deserve their trust and confidence. In fact, many people use the internet for pre-purchase research so that they can determine for themselves whether a particular supplier or brand is worthy of their patronage, and won’t take them for a ride.
The Internet also allows for Viral Marketing – where your website visitors spread positive word-of-mouth about your business - your customers do your marketing!

9. Promote your "Brick ‘n’ Mortar" Presence

Getting lost trying to find a place can be frustrating for a potential customer. You can publish what they call a "dummy map" on your website, which shows directions and landmarks graphically, and the potential customer can print it out when looking for your "Brick ‘n’ Mortar" premises.
You might advertise a promotion on your website encouraging the visitor to visit your "Brick ‘n’ Mortar" premises (eg. "At a branch near you!").
Also, if you recently moved to a new location, you will have to wait for the next 'phone directory to come out before people figure out where you currently are. Because a website is flexible – you can change the content as you like – you can change you contact details instantly and lower the risk of losing customers when moving to a new location.

10. Growth Opportunity

A website serves as a great place to refer potential investors to, to show them what your company is about, what it has achieved and what it can achieve in future.

11. Two-Way Communicative Marketing

Customers can quickly and easily give feedback on your product and/or marketing approach.

12. Cheap Market Research

You can use features on your website such as visitor polls, online surveys and your website statistics to find out what your customers like more and how they feel about certain aspects of your business to determine how you can improve your product and the way you do business.
Website statistics show you how much traffic your website receives, how the visitor got to your website and where, geographically, the visitor is from.

The Best Website Traffic Sources

Jim Edwards has written the following article, explaining what website traffic "really" is and gives you some very straightforward thoughts on how to evaluate any source of traffic you're considering purchasing.

The Best Website Traffic Sources

- by Jim Edwards
http://www.thenetreporter.com
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Not a day goes by that any serious website owner doesn't
wonder how to get more traffic to their site.

This intense desire to generate more clicks makes virtually
any online entrepreneur easy prey to many of the traffic
schemes and scams that pervade the Internet like conmen on a
carnival midway.

Promises of fast traffic and big bucks often separate even
the most savvy business person from their money because they
want to believe the promises made by these traffic
hucksters.

However, rather than thinking "complicated equals better" in
the traffic game, the best website traffic sources rate
extremely easy to separate from the useless garbage traffic.

Fact: "Good Traffic" equals "Targeted Traffic!"

That means the visitors come as a result of desire to find
out more on a specific, niche topic, not as a result of
"exit" traffic or membership in a "safe" list where members
simply pitch each other in an incestuous spam fest.

Good traffic comes from people clicking links on topics
targeted to their interests and getting directed to a
website containing information they want and expect as a
result of clicking the link.

Bottom line, when you get right down to it, the best, most
dependable sources of targeted traffic come from links that
people click.

So, next time you're considering spending money on a traffic
source, understand that unless it involves a targeted link
that a targeted visitor can click to get to your website,
think twice before opening up your wallet.

To my knowledge, only three ways exist to get a link to your
site: buy it, "voodoo" it, or grow it.

** Buy Links**

Buying links actually rates the fastest way to get traffic
to your website.

You simply sign up for Google AdWords at Google.com or you
open an account with Overture.com.

You then run ads with a link on those sites and any time
someone clicks the link, you pay for the click through a
relatively straightforward bidding process based on the
popularity of the keyword.

You can also buy links in ezines, newsletters, and on other
people's website either on a per-click basis, for a period
of time (a week or month), or in exchange for paying them a
commission if a sale gets made as a result of a click on
the link.

** Linking "VoodDoo" **

Linking "voodoo" refers to attempting to manipulate the
search engines into displaying links to your website.

You can find a large number of automated software programs
online at any given time that will claim to help you get
more search engine traffic.

Depending on the intensity of competition in a specific
market, and the fact that search engines change their rules
frequently, pursuing search engine links can quickly turn
into the online equivalent of Alice chasing the rabbit down
a hole to "Wonderland."

** Grow Links **

I personally prefer this method to get links to my websites:
growing them.

The best type of link to get involves one person telling
another person, either explicitly or implicitly, they should
click the link and visit the site at the other end.

One way to do this is simply to exchange links with another
site which targets the same audience as your site.

You can manage this process manually or use one of the many
software packages that will mange the process for you.

A search on Google.com for "reciprocal link manager
software" yields a good start.

The easiest way to grow links is through using articles
other people post on their websites which link back to your
website.

The reason articles work so well for "growing" links
involves the numerous ways in which articles get distributed
online, each of which can create dozens, hundreds, even
thousands of different links back to your website by
publishing a single article.

As time goes by, and as the article spreads around, the
number of links literally "grows" over time (but unlike
a houseplant, you don't have to water an article!).

In fact, the following represent only the tip of the iceberg
when it comes to all the places you can grow and expand the
links to your site by publishing articles online.

~ Blogs - Your articles can not only appear on your own
blog, but get posted by others on their blogs with
surprising ease.

The links in these articles can point directly back to your
website.

~ Article Directories - Article directories such as
IdeaMarketers.com abound online.

They not only provide an easy way to display your articles
to allow others to pick them up for posting on their
websites, but also in and of themselves attract readers
searching for content.

~ OPS (Other People's Sites) - Popular websites like
WebProNews.com attract repeat visitors by offering targeted
content to their readers.

Since they can't produce all the content themselves, they
publish articles created by others. Links from these sites
can bring a steady stream of targeted visitors by giving you
targeted exposure.

~ Ezines - By getting your articles published in other
people's ezines, you can get a link on the most valuable
real estate online, a targeted prospect's email "inbox."

Many ezine publishers run articles written by others to their
targeted readers, and your link in the resource box can
bring you a veritable avalanche of targeted site visitors
when hundreds, even thousands of people receive your article
at the same time.

Whether you choose to buy them, "voodoo" them, or grow them,
getting targeted links to your site posted on the Internet
represents the absolute best way to get steady traffic to
your site.

Though not as fast as buying them or as exciting as trying
to manipulate the search engines, growing links with
articles
gives you a long-term, dependable presence online.

The LAST Corey Rudl Product

Today, I'm honored to announce the release of what is, perhaps, the most informative, shocking, and inspiring Corey Rudl audio recording of all time.

For 150 minutes (and 29 seconds) you will be a fly on the wall as the two "GREAT LEGENDS" of Internet marketing and direct marketing - Corey and the outrageous Dan Kennedy - discuss...

How you can make MILLIONS of dollars using the Internet
teamed up with direct mail, radio, TV, classified ads,
Yellow Page ads, infomercials, and MORE!

You'll hear Corey reveal how he made over $40 Million in Internet sales and taught 1,000s of "real people" how to make massive incomes of $100,000.00 to $2.5 MILLION (or more!) per year with the Internet...

You'll hear Dan Kennedy, the legendary GOD of direct (offline) marketing, talk about how he's made hundreds of MILLIONS of dollars for his clients, including companies like Amway and the $200-million-per-year Gunthy-Renker Corporation...

But BEST OF ALL, you'll hear these Millionaire Marketing Geniuses reveal "advanced" profit secrets that - until now - were reserved for their "inner circle" of close, personal friends!

For example...

You'll hear the AMAZING true story of two guys who sold almost IDENTICAL products, with the SAME offer, to the SAME audience - yet one guy made $2 Million MORE... all thanks to just one simple strategy! PLUS, you'll learn which 2 blockbuster marketing ideas Corey got from Dan that made him over $100,000 in profits (that's cash in hand!) - in less than 24 months!

... And that's just for starters!

You quite simply won't find a recorded interview like this - anywhere.

A brainstorming session between two marketing geniuses of this caliber has NEVER been recorded before. And that's why, since this recording would have been priceless before Corey passed away, I can't even guess its value now.

To start listening to this 150-minute audio recording right away, please visit:

http://www.marketingtips.com/kennedyrudl/t/816163

I hope you enjoy it...

P.S. The "special edition" release of this recording will only be available to the first 250 people. After that, it will either be REMOVED, or the price will be raised to $1,499.00 or MORE - still a bargain when you consider Corey's consultation rates were $2,790.00 per hour - and Dan's rates are $9,600.00 per day!

Internet Wealth - Here's Your Trial Copy

I'm handing out trial copies of the "Accelerated Internet
Wealth Video
" series, and I'd like you to have one!

Let me explain...

I'm thinking of offering this set of wealth-building
videos - where Derek Gehl and his team reveal *exactly* how
they grew $25 into $40 Million in online sales.

So here's what will happen:

1. You'll receive - by courier - a package containing 9 DVDs
or video tapes that lay out *in detail* the exact strategies
they've been using to earn $40,000,000 online.

2. Spend 30 days watching these live demos of their most
successful test results and case studies, and profiting
from as many of the hundreds of wealth-building strategies
as you can.

At the end of 30 days, you choose...

If you're convinced that you'll be able to make hundreds of
times more money than your competitors by using this
information, you can keep the videos!

Otherwise, just send them back.

These are the techniques Derek and his team have been using
to make $20,821 a DAY online, and they've NEVER shared them
publicly before!

You'll discover how to guarantee all your e-mail gets delivered
(and not accidentally deleted as spam)... how anyone can turn
an idea into a profitable web site with almost no up-front
cash in less than a month... how they made $2,031,959 last
year using just ONE "forgotten" marketing technique... and
much more!

But you need to move fast...

Derek is limiting the number of people who sign up, in order
to make sure there are enough trial copies for everyone!

So I'd like to encourage you to follow this link right away:

http://www.marketingtips.com/t.cgi/816163/trialseries

Good luck with the trial. The information in these videos
helped me - and I *know* it'll help you, too!

(Don't underestimate the value of the information in this
trial. Just ONE of the secrets cost Derek and his team over
2 years to learn, and cost them $100,000 in research and
expenses!)

How To Avoid Spam Robots

Jim Edwards has written an article that may just save you from spam. The article is as follows:

How To Avoid Spam Robots

http://www.thenetreporter.com
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Despite the fact that Federal legislation (the CANSPAM act)
made it illegal, harvesting email addresses from the web
using automated robots remains alive and well.

Spammers who need fresh email addresses release software
spider programs that comb the Internet and suck email
addresses off Web pages, guest books, and anywhere else you
might post your email address.

Once they get your email address, spammers will trade it
around like 5th graders with a new pack of Pokemon cards at
recess and you can expect the avalanche of email to begin
flooding your inbox.

In order to combat this still rampant practice of stealing
email addresses from websites and sending people email they
don't want, the following tips should help protect you.

** Break It Up **

Obviously the best way to avoid getting picked up by an
email harvester is not to post your email anywhere on
anyone's website (including your own).

If the only way someone can get your email is if you give it
to them, that creates a similar situation to operating with
an unlisted phone number.

If telemarketers can't get your phone number, they can't
call.

If you must post your email address, post it in a way that a
robot won't recognize it as an email address. Instead of
posting YOURNAME@YOURDOMAIN.COM, you can put YOURNAME (AT)
YOURDOMAIN.COM and then, in parenthesis, put (replace AT
with @ to email me).

Though it seems like an extra step for legitimate email,
you'll find it a very effective technique.

** Use An Image **

Currently, online spiders (ANY spider, including search
engines) cannot read text that appears in a graphic or
picture. If you must display an email address on a page,
then do it by typing your email address into your favorite
graphics program and saving the image as a .gif or .jpg.
Then post the image onto your web page so people can see the
email, but spiders cannot. This too creates an extra step
for people because they must type in your email address, but
it's an effective solution if you must display an email
address on your own website.

** Use An Email Form **

Another way to cut down on spam originating from your
own website is simply not to display an email at all.

Instead, allow customers and prospects to contact you
through a form where they fill in fields, click a button,
and your website emails you their message.

A note of caution: make sure the form script you use does
not keep your email address visible in the form code.

If the form code contains the email address, spam robots can
find it even though you don't see it on the page.

** Make It Hard To Guess **

Sometimes you'll get unsolicited email because a spammer
guessed your email address.

It's not a far stretch to imagine that someone probably has
the email Jim@yourdomain.com, so spammers will do a
"dictionary" attack on common usernames.

One way to defeat this is to place a "dot" (.) in your email
address, such as Jim.Edwards@yourdomain.com. The dot makes
it virtually impossible for spammers to guess your email
address.
